I am looking for a book to purchase from a company that has information for customers that have installed new landscaping. We had a book similar in our office but never got the change to order it and now It is lost. Any Idea's?

See if you can find an Ortho how to booklet. Check the Salvation Army Store, you just may get lucky. Even in old books the care is the same it hasn't changed. I wish I knew where you lived. Here, I live in the San Fernando Valley a Los Angeles suburb, I am blessed with a light loam that drains. If you have this kind of soil, water in your new plant thoroughly until you see new growth, then once a week in the summer. I watch my plants closely to see if they are drying out. I can tell just by looking. I use a long wooden stick to put into the ground as far as the roots go down which should be about 20" or so. If it comes up wet after five minutes you are okay, After a while you won't need to do this. If they are winter hardy the rain should take care of them, even out in a desert. Desert plant will die with too much water, you need to know if they are summer growers (new leaves starting now) or winter growers, (new leaves start about Oct 1 give or take two weeks, we sure to visit your local nursery and ask questions not a Wal Mart or Home Depot, a real nursery.
Who ever put in your landscape or sold you the plant should be able to respond to all of your questions. When you do water make sure it is thorough, and not just a sprinkle. Cactus/succulents can go months withoug water in open run. This all just general information because I have nothing else to go on. I forgot if they are planted with roots you may water immediately and should, you don't want those roots to dry out then rot. Hoyakins
